PlayCity accredits GLI as Ukraine testing and inspection body for gambling equipment

Ukraine’s regulatory authority PlayCity appointed Gaming Laboratories International as a testing and certification provider and inspection body for gambling equipment, the company said. GLI Europe B.V. will provide certification services for gaming hardware and software; suppliers need PlayCity approval certificates to request certification for the Ukrainian market.

Suppliers seeking Ukrainian market certification can request testing through GLI Europe B.V. after obtaining PlayCity approval certificates.

PlayCity appoints GLI to certify and inspect gaming products in Ukraine

Ukraine’s PlayCity appointed Gaming Laboratories International as a testing, certification and inspection body for gaming hardware and software, the company said. GLI is currently the only foreign entity accredited for the work; suppliers will need PlayCity approval certificates before requesting market certification. Separately, Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Affairs proposed bills covering digital oversight, player protections and gambling taxation.
