Picayune Rancheria files lawsuit to block North Fork casino opening

Regulation

The Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians filed a federal lawsuit seeking to stop the North Fork Mono Casino & Resort from opening in Madera County, California. North Fork and Station Casinos have asked the court to dismiss the case.

The lawsuit challenges the casino’s legal basis to open and could affect the planned launch.
