PGCB weighs licensing solution for Bally’s planned Evoke acquisition in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania’s Gaming Control Board must decide whether to accept a proposed licensing arrangement before Bally’s Intralot can complete its acquisition of Evoke, according to reports. Evoke subsidiary 888 Atlantic holds a Pennsylvania manufacturer licence for its Caesars contract, and the companies’ proposed solution would involve surrendering that licence while winding down operations. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026 or the first quarter of 2027.
The board’s decision could affect the timing of Bally’s Intralot’s acquisition and the transition of 888 Atlantic’s Pennsylvania services.
