Pennsylvania gaming board must approve Fertitta’s planned Caesars acquisition
Pennsylvania’s Gaming Control Board must review Fertitta Entertainment’s planned acquisition of Caesars Entertainment, the board said, according to the report. Caesars has not filed the required change-of-control petition, and the board set no submission deadline. The reported deal is valued at $17.6bn.
Pennsylvania approval is required before the ownership change can cover Caesars’ gaming operations in the state.
