Patim and UNAD seek municipal powers to restrict gambling venues in Valencia
Patim and UNAD called for regulations to implement saturated gambling zones under Valencia's gambling law, according to the report dated 29 October 2026. Their proposal would allow councils to suspend new authorisations and relocations in designated areas using criteria including population density and socioeconomic vulnerability.
The proposed rules could give councils greater control over where gambling venues open or relocate.
