Paraguay’s executive proposes DINAJZAR regulator in gaming reform bill
Paraguay’s executive has proposed replacing CONAJZAR with an autonomous gambling regulator, DINAJZAR, in a bill under consideration by Congress. APOJA president Lorena Rojas supports the reform but opposes limiting sports-betting operators to three; lawyer Javier Rodrigo Balbuena warned that digital concessions of up to 10 years could restrict competition. APOJA is preparing comments for the congressional legislation committee.
The proposed regulator and concession limits could reshape licensing conditions and competition for gambling operators in Paraguay.
