Panama gaming authority approves rules for digital tax lottery

Regulation

Panama’s Gaming Control Board approved regulations for the Digital Fiscal Lottery, a system promoted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance through the Directorate General of Revenue. Participants can register qualifying electronic invoices issued up to two months before a draw, with registration closing 72 hours before the relevant draw; the authority may hold national, regional and provincial draws.

The rules set invoice eligibility and registration cut-offs for a government-run lottery system.
