PAGCOR revokes Emerald Bay provisional gaming licence in the Philippines
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp revoked the provisional gaming licence for PH Resorts Group Holdings’ Emerald Bay project on Mactan Island, the company disclosed on 18 December. Construction had stalled, and PH Resorts said its discussions with EEI Corp had not produced a definitive completion agreement; the project partnership was no longer feasible after the revocation.
The revocation ends the project’s provisional authorisation and removes the basis for its proposed partnership with EEI.
