The Philippine gaming market recorded gross gaming revenue of PHP83.72bn in Q3 2026, down 11.41% from PHP94.51bn in the same period of 2025. The figures were released on 6 November by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), the country's gaming regulator.
The electronic gaming segment, which covers E-Bingo, E-Games and licensed bingo operators, generated gross revenue of PHP35.28bn, against PHP45.73bn in Q3 of the previous year. That was a fall of 22.86%, equal to a loss of PHP10.45bn. The loss accounts for the predominant part of the sector's overall year-on-year revenue contraction of PHP10.79bn.
Licensed casinos produced gross gaming revenue of PHP45.38bn in the quarter, a limited decrease of 0.40% from PHP45.56bn in the same period of 2025. The licensed casino segment represented 54.20% of total industry revenue in the quarter. Casinos operated directly by PAGCOR recorded revenue of PHP3.03bn, down 4.81% from PHP3.18bn a year earlier.
PAGCOR chairman and chief executive Alejandro H. Tengco said weaker electronic gaming revenue continues to weigh on the industry's overall performance. Tengco said inflationary pressures and geopolitical uncertainty continue to affect market performance by influencing consumer spending decisions, especially on discretionary activities such as gambling.
The year-on-year contraction was smaller than in Q2 2026, when the market had recorded a decline of 20.33%. Tengco acknowledged the difficulties facing the industry but described the slower pace of contraction as an encouraging signal. He also confirmed the regulator's commitment to maintaining constant dialogue with licensed operators.
