PAGCOR targets December 2026 launch for licensed-gaming verification app
PAGCOR is targeting December 2026 for a mobile app that would let players check whether online gaming platforms hold its licence, the regulator’s chairman and chief executive Alejandro H. Tengco said. PAGCOR approved development and a proposed partnership with Development Bank of the Philippines Data Center, Inc. on 8 October; the developer must first complete a six-month proof-of-concept assessment, and PAGCOR will bear no costs.
The planned app would let players verify PAGCOR licences, giving operators a player-facing check on their licensing status.
