Spain’s Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ) has opened public participation on a draft resolution approving a mechanism to detect risky behaviour among users of state-wide gambling activities. Contributions are invited until 22 October 2026 and should be sent to DGOJ’s Subdirectorate General for Gambling Regulation.
The Gambling Commission found four distinct groups among consumers using illegal gambling sites, according to its latest Consumer Voice research. The findings indicate that these users have different motivations, the report said.

Legitbet, a monitoring platform maintained by the ANJL, identified 221 new illegal betting sites in Brazil over the Children's Day holiday. It also found 1,439 suspicious links, mainly on Telegram, and recorded 30,844 clandestine sites still accessible on the holiday's final day. ANJL president Plínio Lemos Jorge said the increase was a consequence of the regulated market's end.
