Okada Manila opens 70-machine slot zone in the Philippines

Okada Manila opened a dedicated slot-machine zone at its Pearl Lobby entrance on Sunday, the company said. Okada Manila claims the area is the first of its kind in the Philippines and in Asia. The zone holds 70 machines and is open to visitors aged 21 and above.

The zone brings together six slot game families from two manufacturers, AGS and Aruze Gaming Global, with each supplying 35 machines. Large LED screens project visual content in the space. Okada Manila describes the layout as a way for guests to explore international slot titles in one location.

Rick Colman, Vice President of Electronic Gaming Operations at Okada Manila, said: "We want players to be able to say they played it first at Okada Manila."

An invitation-only event took place on 25 October for 70 VIP members of the Reward Circle loyalty programme. Access was later extended to every visitor aged 21 and above, and Reward Circle members receive extra incentives. The company also introduced the "Okada Online Casino Win Zone" earlier this year; it first appeared in the mass-market gaming area, where guests could try the platform via live-table games, live slots and eGaming demo stations.
