Ohio’s Casino Control Commission submitted a proposed rule change this week to remove credit cards as a funding method for sports betting accounts. The draft would allow promotional credits, winnings, bank transfers and certain provider corrections, while permitting other methods approved by the executive director. Public comment is open until 15 May, with a hearing and legislative review to follow.

Sportsbook operators in Ohio may need to remove credit card deposits if the proposed rule is adopted.
