OHID changes tie-break policy for gambling harms funding bids

Regulation

The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities has withdrawn a policy that could have used charities’ past industry funding to break ties between bids for gambling harms prevention grants in the UK. OHID told applicants that identical-scoring proposals will instead be prioritised for novel approaches addressing unmet need or underserved groups and areas.

The revised criterion changes how charities competing for UK gambling harms prevention grants may be assessed.
