NYSGC urges sports leagues to seek betting restrictions in New York
The New York State Gaming Commission is urging professional sports leagues to submit formal requests for restrictions on wagers in New York. The commission said no league has filed such a request, and it may shorten its usual 60-day review period; it is also reviewing individual player proposition bets.
Operators may face changes to permitted wager types as the commission reviews player propositions and league requests.
