In brief

  • Nsaa Play Limited launched the Chop Money mobile raffle platform in Ghana.
  • Tickets cost GH₵5; entry is by website or USSD.
  • The first raffle begins in November 2026, with five winners to be announced on 4 December 2026.
  • A National Lottery Authority Caritas Team member said the platform was authorised to operate its draws.

Chop Money is a new mobile raffle platform from Nsaa Play Limited, aimed at Ghanaians. The launch event took place at the Accra City Hotel.

Tickets cost GH₵5, and prizes include smartphones, electronics, shopping cards and daily essentials. Participants can enter through the website or by dialling *2727# on any mobile phone, including basic phones. The USSD option works without an internet connection, and no app download is needed. The first raffle will begin in November 2026, and five winners will be announced on 4 December 2026.

Participants can reach the platform by USSD or the internet and then pick a raffle after looking at the available prizes. A ticket is bought for GH₵5, and the relevant raffle rules apply. Following the draw, entrants receive confirmation of their entry and can monitor the outcomes. If the rules permit, more than one ticket can be bought, and each valid ticket improves the chance of winning that draw.

Akua Serwaa Adu Darko, a member of the National Lottery Authority Caritas Team, said at the launch that Chop Money met the required conditions. She said the Authority had granted it official authorisation to operate its raffle draws. Albert Aryee, General Manager of Nsaa Play Limited, said the company's aim is to make participation straightforward and accessible.
