Taiwan’s communications regulator blocked Kalshi and Coinbase websites following a New Taipei court order, reportedly over suspected breaches of election law. Kalshi reportedly denied allowing trading in Taiwan, while Coinbase said it was investigating user reports of access difficulties.
Stake continued offering bets to Brazilian users through stake.com after the national ban and the 6 October removal deadline, a media report said. The report said it accessed the site and created an account with Brazilian documents on 8 October; the Stake .bet.br domain displayed a suspension notice. Brazil’s SPA/MF said quota betting had become illegal nationwide, including for previously authorised operators.
