New York gaming commission seeks Kalshi records in state gambling inquiry

Regulation

The New York State Gaming Commission has asked a Manhattan court to order Kalshi to provide records sought in an investigation into possible state gambling-law violations, according to the petition described in the report. The commission seeks documents on sports event contracts, advertising, offerings to people under 21 and corporate ownership; Kalshi has objected to some requests.

The court’s decision will determine whether the commission can obtain records for its investigation into Kalshi.
