Regulation

Nevada’s Gaming Control Board warned operators that participation in sports event contracts could jeopardise their standing in the state, according to the report. MGM Resorts International chief executive Bill Hornbuckle praised the board’s position, while its chair said FanDuel and DraftKings intended to engage in unlawful activity related to the contracts.

The warning puts operators’ Nevada gaming standing at risk if they participate in sports event contracts.
