Nevada court restricts Kalshi event markets during litigation
A Nevada district court judge issued a temporary order on 20 March barring Kalshi from offering sports, political and entertainment markets to state residents. The order followed a complaint by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, and Kalshi says it is complying while challenging the restrictions. A hearing on a longer-term injunction is scheduled for 3 April.
The order prevents Kalshi from taking new trades in the restricted categories from Nevada users while the case proceeds.
