Nevada congressmen propose ban on sports-based prediction markets
Nevada congressmen reportedly introduced the Prediction Markets are Gambling Act on 24 July. The proposal would bar exchanges from listing sports or casino-style contracts; its sponsors said it would protect the integrity of Nevada's regulated gambling sector.
If enacted, the proposal would prevent exchanges from offering sports and casino-style contracts in its scope.
