Minnesota Supreme Court upholds ruling allowing Running Aces dealer-assist games

Regulation

The Minnesota Supreme Court’s 3-3 division left in place a Court of Appeals ruling that dealer-assist games at Running Aces are card-based table games, not electronic gaming. The court issued no opinion on the merits; the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community said it considers the games a violation of state law.

The ruling allows Running Aces to continue offering dealer-assist games while leaving the legal dispute without a Supreme Court opinion.
