Minnesota Supreme Court affirms ruling allowing dealer-assist games at Running Aces

Regulation

The Minnesota Supreme Court left in place a lower court ruling allowing Running Aces to offer dealer-assist table games. The court was divided, with three members supporting the earlier decision, three opposing it and one abstaining; no opinion was issued. Running Aces welcomed the outcome, while the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community said it believed the games breached tribal exclusivity.

The ruling allows Running Aces to continue offering dealer-assist table games despite the tribe’s challenge.
