Mindway AI has announced that its joint Safer Gambling Week Breakfast Briefing will return, hosted in partnership with Vixio Regulatory Intelligence.

This year's theme is "Next-Gen Player Protection: From Data to Human Impact". The aim is to go past minimum compliance and bring in artificial intelligence, clinical psychology and empathetic work on the front line.

Mindway AI CEO Rasmus Kjaergaard said in a statement: "Effective player protection cannot happen in isolation; it demands true cross-industry collaboration."

Qualified industry stakeholders can attend at no charge, though space at One Moorgate Place is restricted.

Reportedly, Regulators from at least eight African jurisdictions met in London on 2 July alongside iGB L!VE 2026, in a session hosted by the African iGaming Alliance. Discussions covered sustainable taxation, channelling players to licensed operators and player protection, and advanced the proposed Africa Safer Gambling Week. Participants also agreed to strengthen cross-border collaboration against illegal gambling.
