Miele plans to disable Pennsylvania skill-game machines before enforcement deadline

Enforcement & compliance

Miele Manufacturing plans to disable its skill-game machines during the next collection visit by its operating divisions, ahead of Pennsylvania’s 13 October enforcement deadline. The state Supreme Court ruled that skill-game terminals constitute gambling; Attorney General Dave Sunday warned that inactive or unplugged machines could still lead to enforcement action and urged businesses to arrange removal.

Pennsylvania businesses may need to arrange removal, as disabling machines alone may not prevent enforcement action.
