Ainsworth Game Technology appointed Matt Smith vice-president of marketing and product strategy, the company said. Smith will lead the company’s marketing and product strategy initiatives. He joins from IGT, where he spent eight years and most recently served as director of premium product management.

Jamul Casino Resort appointed Clara Carter as senior hospitality and event strategy consultant, the company said. Carter will advise on the resort’s meetings and events strategy and work with its leadership, internal teams and partners. Resort president and general manager Mary Cheeks said the role would support the development of its meetings and events portfolio.
DC Lottery Executive Director Randy Burnside was elected NASPL’s Region II vice-president at its September 2026 membership conference. The role represents lottery organisations in seven US states, Quebec and the District of Columbia, according to the announcement.
The DC Lottery announced that its executive director, Randy Burnside, now sits on the Executive Committee of the National Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL).
