MGCB approves FanDuel for multi-state poker in Michigan

Licences & markets

Michigan's Gaming Control Board approved FanDuel to connect poker players in Michigan with players in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, effective 1 April 2026, according to the regulator. The approval allows FanDuel to operate under the PokerStars brand, with MotorCity Casino as its local partner. The regulator said its review found the operator met state requirements for multi-state internet poker.

The approval lets Michigan poker players join games with Pennsylvania and New Jersey players through FanDuel’s PokerStars brand.
