Matchbook plans to launch a sports-focused prediction-market product in the UK as early as January 2026, interim chief executive Ronan McDonagh said. The company plans to operate under its UK Gambling Commission licence, with the launch intended to test its operating capacity before a potential move into the US.

The planned launch would add a licensed prediction-market product to the UK sports betting market.
