Matchbook has launched a Brazil-focused sportsbook through a technology partnership with FIRST, the companies said. The site, matchbook.bet.br, combines Matchbook’s exchange and fixed-odds offering with FIRST’s sportsbook technology. A2FBR supported the project locally.
The Brazil-focused platform combines exchange and fixed-odds betting, giving operators a locally supported route into the market.

Matchbook chief executive Ronan McDonagh discussed the company’s acquisition of Betdaq’s brand in an interview published on 20 October 2026. The report says Matchbook bought the brand but not Betdaq’s customers; McDonagh also discussed the implications for on-course bookmakers and the UK betting exchange market.
Matchbook acquired rival betting exchange Betdaq. Enda Kendrick said on-course bookmakers were the deal’s main motivation and Matchbook’s market makers would benefit most.
Matchbook said it has completed its acquisition of Betdaq. Betdaq will continue operating temporarily through EPS Ltd, with trading available until 21 October 2026 and customer withdrawals open until 4 November; the announcement said user funds would remain protected during the transition.
It was reported that ONDISS introduced FIRST sportsbook technology at City Center Online in Argentina. The launch brings the supplier into the Argentine market through the ONDISS platform.
ADI Predictstreet launched its sports prediction-markets platform in the UK and Ireland through a partnership with Matchbook, the companies said. It operates through Matchbook’s exchange under parent company Triplebet’s UK regulatory framework and does not hold a separate UK Gambling Commission licence. The platform offers markets on the 2026 FIFA World Cup and will stream all 104 matches.
