Massachusetts Gaming Commission releases research on gambling and veterans
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission released a study on gambling and help-seeking among veterans on 24 September 2026. The commission funded research by Technical Assent and the William Joiner Institute at the University of Massachusetts Boston into gambling’s effects on veterans and ways to strengthen prevention and engagement.
The findings may inform gambling-harm prevention and support approaches for veteran communities in Massachusetts.
