Maryland reports $15.7m in sports wagering contributions for December

Maryland Lottery and Gaming reported that sports wagering generated $15,736,889 for the state in December 2025, with total wagers of $636,272,774. The agency said $11,849,429 went to the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future Fund and $3,887,460 to the General Fund. Contributions for the first half of fiscal 2026 reached $78,604,721, compared with $46,576,504 in the same period a year earlier.
The figures give operators and regulators a breakdown of wagering activity, tax contributions and year-on-year state revenue.
