Macau collected MOP74.56bn ($9.22bn) in gaming-related tax in the first nine months of 2026, up 5.9% year on year, according to Financial Services Bureau data cited by AGB. September receipts fell 1.6% to MOP8.39bn. Gaming contributed about 83% of total central account receipts.
Macau recorded 1,951 gaming-related criminal cases in January–September 2026, a 12.3% annual increase. Fraud and unauthorised currency exchange for gambling each registered double-digit percentage increases and drove the rise.
