Lottoitalia applies five-minute cancellation limit to four lottery games

Regulation

Lottoitalia made new cancellation rules operational from 15 June for Lotto, 10eLotto, MillionDay and FAI3 FAI4, the Federazione Italiana Tabaccai said. Customers have five minutes from receipt issuance to cancel, except for instant-win plays, and cancellations must be completed before sales close for the relevant draw.

The change requires retailers to enforce a fixed cancellation period and observe exceptions for instant-win plays and draw closing times.
