In brief
- Light & Wonder Q3 2026 revenue fell 2% to $824m; adjusted EBITDA rose 2% to $383m.
- Matthieu Labbat is the new SciPlay chief executive; Josh Wilson stepped down on 30 October.

Light & Wonder reported a 2% fall in revenue for Q3 2026. Revenue was $824m, against $841m in Q3 last year. Consolidated adjusted EBITDA rose 2% to $383m. Profitability was also higher than a year earlier.
The company's premium installed base in North America saw a 2,657-unit increase. CEO and president Matt Wilson expressed confidence about Q4 and 2027. Wilson said: “Gaming momentum continues, evidenced by our North American premium installed base growing for the 25th consecutive quarter.”
Operating costs fell 5% to $582m. Operating profit rose 6% to $242m. Pre-tax profit was $167m, about 20% higher than in Q3 last year. After $34m in tax, net profit was $133m, up 17% year on year.
Year-to-date revenue to the end of September came to $2.44bn. Pre-tax profit rose 3% to $378m, helped by lower finance-related expenses. Net profit for the period was up 5% at $305m. Consolidated AEBITDA was up 5% at $1.09bn for the year to date.
For full-year 2026, Light & Wonder anticipates consolidated AEBITDA growth near the bottom of the mid-to-high single-digit range it set earlier. It cited persistent weakness in social casino and some customers postponing investment and capital spending. Growth in recurring revenue and a seasonally strong fourth quarter are expected to cushion part of that effect. The net debt leverage ratio is still on track to move towards 3.0x by the year end. A move below that mark is then expected in H1 of 2027.
