AGCO licences DAZN Bet for Ontario as Alberta registers operator

DAZN Bet has received an iGaming operator licence from Ontario’s AGCO and is registered by Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis, according to the report. The company has not yet started taking bets in Ontario, despite receiving approval to launch there in January; Alberta’s regulated commercial online gambling market is scheduled to open on 13 July.

DAZN Bet has regulatory approvals in Ontario and Alberta, but has not started taking bets in Ontario.
