Lance Gokongwei is reportedly set to invest PHP2 billion personally in PhilWeb, according to a report citing people familiar with the matter. The proposed commitment would comprise a 10% stake in common shares and a 5% stake in convertible preferred shares; an announcement was expected on 24 June 2026.
The proposed investment could change PhilWeb’s ownership structure as it expands its regulated online gaming business.

JKS Tech Solutions has partnered with MegaWin on gaming content in the Philippines, according to a report. PhilWeb Corporation recently agreed to acquire a 30% stake in JKS Tech Solutions, the report said.
PhilWeb said it is preparing to supply MegaWin digital casino games to Philippine gaming operators under an exclusive partnership, targeting a fourth-quarter 2026 rollout. The offering is intended for casino resorts and domestic gaming platforms, with software designed to connect to partner backend networks.
Reportedly, PhilWeb entered a cross-investment agreement worth US$67.4m with JKS Tech Solutions. The arrangement involves a series of transactions between the Philippine gaming platform provider and JKS Tech Solutions.
It was reported that PhilWeb earned PHP47m in net income during the second quarter of 2026. It had lost PHP16.3m a year earlier, while growth in B2B online gaming helped sales almost double.
