KSA removes 86 illegal gambling sites using .co.nl domains in the Netherlands

Enforcement & compliance

The Dutch gambling regulator, KSA, reported that 86 illegal gambling sites using .co.nl domains had been removed. The sites copied licensed operators’ pages and redirected visitors to illegal gambling platforms; 26 were recently taken offline within 48 hours of the regulator notifying domain operator CO.NL.

The action targets a route used to impersonate licensed operators and direct Dutch visitors to illegal gambling platforms.
