KSA overturns emergency enforcement method in Bingo Nederland case
The Kansspelautoriteit upheld its view that Bingo Nederland Limited’s so-called skill bingo constituted a game of chance, but found the emergency enforcement measure it used to stop the events was not justified. The company’s objection succeeded on that ground; the authority had known about the activity for two months, the report said.
The decision limits the KSA’s use of immediate enforcement in this case while maintaining its finding that the game breached gambling law.
