KSA issues Unibet operator with Wwft compliance instruction
The Kansspelautoriteit issued an instruction to Unibet operator Optdeck Service Limited in 2025 over shortcomings in its anti-money-laundering controls. The regulator said thresholds were too high and not tailored to the Dutch market or younger adults; Unibet adjusted its thresholds and procedures, but the action plan did not remedy every breach.
The instruction shows operators must align AML thresholds and controls with Dutch requirements and player risk groups.
