Kansspelautoriteit updates affordability-check guidance after review of 20 licensees
The Kansspelautoriteit updated its good-practice and bad-practice guidance on affordability checks after sampling 20 licensed online gambling operators. The review led to 10 improvement meetings, three warnings and one binding instruction; the revised guidance says liquid assets such as savings must not count towards the check.
Online operators must account for the revised affordability-check guidance and the regulator’s planned further inspections.
