Kansspelautoriteit addresses Dutch venues over Cruks identity checks
The Kansspelautoriteit said it would contact the casinos and gaming halls named in a broadcast after tests found that some admitted a person using someone else’s identity document despite an active Cruks registration. The regulator said Cruks recognises a registered player using their own identity document and placed responsibility for checking visitor identities on venue operators.
Dutch land-based operators named in the tests face scrutiny over identity checks and access controls.
