Joy Studios and Cloudbet launch Fearshot: Phantom Mansion in Cloudbet casino

Deals & M&A2 min read

In brief

  • Joy Studios and Cloudbet launched Fearshot: Phantom Mansion exclusively in Cloudbet's casino on 28 October 2026.
  • The first-person game has players shoot numbered ghosts for multipliers in a three-dimensional mansion.
  • Launch events included a $5,000 Open House race and a $20,000 Halloween leaderboard paid in USDT.
  • The companies plan more Fearshot titles, each set in a new world.

Joy Studios and Cloudbet launched Fearshot: Phantom Mansion in Cloudbet's casino lobby on 28 October 2026, the companies said. The game is the first title in what the two companies call Immersive World Betting, in which the player moves through a three-dimensional world and each choice in that world is a bet. Cloudbet said the game is available exclusively on its platform.

Fearshot: Phantom Mansion unfolds from a first-person view. Inside a mansion, the player aims the Phantom Blaster at a chosen ghost and fires; the number that ghost carries turns into the player's multiplier, while a miss costs the stake. Capturing souls keeps building a multiplier as play continues, and the Soul Collector item offers another shot at a bigger payout.

Some ghosts fight back. The Wailing Widow can show up suddenly, and each successful hit on her returns 1.1x. The Inquisitor chases players from one room to the next, paying 350x to whoever takes him down. Firing a shot in the Secret Altar Room may bring out Sister Penance together with her seven faceless Bailiffs, and every one of them holds a prize worth as much as 50x.

Two leaderboard events celebrated the launch. Open House ran for 24 hours with a $5,000 prize pool. The Haunting Hour took place on Halloween, setting aside $20,000 for the top 30 players plus an extra $1,500 for the top three Wailing Widow hunters. USDT is the payout currency. Access requires players to be 18 or older and located where Cloudbet accepts players, and full terms apply.

Will Cordry, Games Product Manager at Joy Studios, said slots and games such as Plinko, Mines and Aviator would remain available. He said faster game-building tools, including AI, now let a small studio build a three-dimensional world far more quickly than before.

A Cloudbet spokesperson said the company's players grew up in first-person worlds and can now bet in one. The spokesperson said Fearshot: Phantom Mansion is the first Immersive World Betting game and will not be the last.

Rather than a one-off release, Fearshot is designed to grow into a series, and the two companies intend to add further titles, each opening in a different world. For quicker play, the lobby offers Cloudbet's own Cloudbet Originals, among them Plinko and Mines. Joy Studios calls Fearshot: Phantom Mansion its first Immersive World Betting game.
