Italy’s government sends Remo Chiodi appointment notice to parliament

Italy's Presidency of the Council of Ministers has sent the Chamber of Deputies a notice concerning the appointment of Remo Chiodi as director general for horse racing at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry. The notice is dated 21 October 2026.

The appointment is a senior-level managerial post within the Department for Food Sovereignty and Horse Racing. The notice was issued under article 19, paragraphs 4 and 5-bis, of legislative decree no. 165 of 2001.

The act was transmitted to the Chamber's First Commission on Constitutional Affairs and its 13th Commission on Agriculture.
