Italian police official calls for specialist training to combat illegal gambling
Ludovico Tuoni, a senior State Police officer, said at the Forum Acadi 2026 that tackling illegal gambling requires specialist investigators, sector knowledge and cooperation among institutions. He said training over the past decade has helped develop gambling and betting expertise, with contributions from the Customs and Monopolies Agency and other sector participants.
