Regulation

Azione MP Cesare Sottanelli called for consistent national rules and stronger measures against illegal gambling during a parliamentary debate in Italy on 18 June 2026. He cited estimates of €164bn in total gambling in 2025, including €31bn through land-based channels, and said illegal online gambling was estimated at €30bn a year.
