Regulation

Iratxe García Pérez, leader of the Socialists and Democrats group in the European Parliament, proposed a 1% tax on gambling revenue during a debate in Strasbourg on new EU revenue sources. She said it could raise €400 million a year for social policies, including young people’s access to housing, and called for faster discussions in the Council.
