ABRAJOGO and AIGAMING raise betting tax issues with PGFN
ABRAJOGO and AIGAMING met Brazil’s PGFN in Brasília on 3 August to discuss tax rules affecting betting operators. The associations raised the Selective Tax, the CBS and IBS calculation bases, and how income from transactional accounts should be taxed; they argued against overlapping charges and taxation of amounts that are not operator revenue.
The issues raised concern how Brazilian betting operators may calculate and pay taxes under the reform.
