iGaming Ontario introduces BetGuard self-exclusion system for 82 operators
iGaming Ontario presented BetGuard in Ontario on 15 April, with a full launch scheduled for May, reportedly. The system lets a player submit one exclusion request covering all 82 licensed operators and digital products run by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation; operator participation is mandatory. Operators will retain their own exclusion tools, while technical guidance is expected before launch.
Operators must integrate with BetGuard while continuing to provide their own self-exclusion tools.
