Regulation

Hong Kong Jockey Club recorded HK$143.31 billion in racing wagering during the 2025/26 season, reportedly 3.2% higher than the previous season. Commingling turnover reached HK$34.4 billion, up 8.3%, while simulcast turnover rose 23.5% to HK$16.20 billion. The club said it plans to begin regular thoroughbred racing at Conghua in October, with no wagering on those races.

The turnover figures show the scale of Hong Kong racing and the growth of commingling and simulcast activity.
