Hollywood Park Casino marks 10 years in current Inglewood building

Hollywood Park Casino marks ten years at its present Inglewood site in Los Angeles, and a company release says festivities are set for 17 to 24 October. The 110,000-square-foot building debuted in September 2016. As the Hollywood Park redevelopment began to take form, this venue was the first new one to launch there.

Management estimates the investment in the building at approximately $100 million, excluding real estate. The property has 125 tables offering poker, including Texas Hold'em and Omaha, as well as California games such as baccarat and "No Bust" blackjack, and it continues to offer simulcast wagering.

Roughly 650 people work at Hollywood Park Casino, the release states. Most of them were already on staff when the current building debuted in 2016, and a number have been with the casino from its 1994 debut onward.

The casino is owned by Stockbridge Capital Group and operated by Hollywood Park Casino Company, LLC, which the release describes as the gambling-enterprise licence holder. It is located at 3883 W. Century Boulevard in Inglewood.

According to the release, Inglewood's adopted budget shows $5.15 million in card-club monthly fees gathered during fiscal year 2024–25. Community fundraisers also take place at the casino, among them a poker tournament for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles that brought in over $52,000 for youth programs in 2024.

SoFi Stadium and Intuit Dome are close to the property. The release notes that The Big Game LXI is set for 14 February 2027 at SoFi Stadium, while LA28's Inglewood zone is slated for swimming, basketball, Olympic and Paralympic opening ceremonies, and the Main Press Center. A 300-room Kali Hotel is being built at Hollywood Park.

Christopher Meany, executive managing director of Hollywood Park Casino Company, LLC, said: "A great entertainment district needs places people return to between its biggest events." According to him, the casino was an early investment in that concept, and the coming decade gives it a chance to draw a wider audience while still serving its weekly regulars.

Deven Kumar, general manager of Hollywood Park Casino, said: "Our longtime employees know what keeps regulars coming back." He said the casino wants that same sense of welcome to be part of first visits as more people discover the area.

Maria Canchola, director of marketing and communications at Hollywood Park Casino, said: "Hollywood Park Casino 's future starts with the people who have sustained it: our employees, our guests and the organizations we work with." She said the casino wants to build on those relationships as Inglewood welcomes visitors from around the world.

Anniversary programming continues through 24 October, with a celebration on 22 October featuring mentalist Jon Stetson. The release states that gaming and anniversary promotions are for guests aged 21 and older.
